A heart that did not stay shut.
The form is smooth and resolved on one side, mirror finished, the colour shifting from violet to gold depending on where you stand. The other side has failed. Something molten has come up through the top and set hard in the air, mid-escape, and it is the most honest part of the object.
Most of the work here is about what people manage to keep inside. This one is about the moment that stops working.
At 60 centimetres it is the smallest piece KROMSKY has released, and at ten it is the largest edition. That was deliberate. This is the one that was meant to leave the studio in numbers.
