I keep coming back to the rhino.
An animal built like a weapon, armoured, heavy, feared on sight, and almost blind. It cannot see what it charges at. It charges anyway. That is most people I have met who got somewhere.
I take the horn off. The word rhinoceros means nose horn, so removing it takes away the thing the animal is named after. What is left still reads as a rhino. It just no longer has the part everyone was looking at.
That is the whole argument. Strength that gave up its weapon is a different kind of strength, and it is the only kind I find interesting.

PERFECTION IS SUSPICIOUS
Every piece starts as drawings, and the drawings stay ugly for a long time. Then one of them stops being ugly, and that is the piece. Only then does anything get cut, cast, ground, polished or plated, and he signs off on each stage himself.
A polished object looks resolved. The character inside it usually is not. Beauty and damage sit in the same piece and neither one wins.
THE RULES OF A DROP
Releases are announced, they open, they sell, and then the page turns black. The purchase button becomes the words SOLD OUT and stays that way. No backorders. No restock form.
Every finished sculpture ships with an NFC card carrying its edition number and a serialized verification code, printed as a QR code on the same card. Scan it and the ownership record resolves on the KROMSKY domain. One code, one owner. The number also lives on the piece itself.

Who is the artist behind KROMSKY?
KROMSKY is the work of one artist, born in Russia, who has spent roughly half his life in Asia. He began making sculptural work in 2018 and started releasing under the KROMSKY name in 2024. He designs every piece himself and approves every finished surface before it ships. He does not discuss what came before the sculptures.
Why does the KROMSKY rhino have no horn?

What are KROMSKY sculptures made of?
Fiberglass, finished in chrome, mirror or hand-sprayed lacquer depending on the piece. Fiberglass allows scale without monumental weight, which is what makes large forms possible at all. Every piece is sanded and polished by hand through three stages before the final finish goes on. Some works are produced in steel where the form demands it.
Are KROMSKY sculptures limited editions?
Yes. Every release is a fixed, numbered edition that is never reproduced. When a drop sells out the listing closes permanently, with no restocks, backorders or waitlists. Edition sizes are published before each release, and pieces that fail inspection are destroyed rather than sold at a lower price, so the published count stays true.
